Remembering Roger Levesque

One of the Edmonton arts community’s biggest cheerleaders, journalist Roger Levesque, lost a battle with cancer recently. He was an avid lover of jazz and a supporter of the jazz in our city. For decades, Roger articulated his love of the art form and the artists we showcased in his previews and reviews of our events, expressing his appreciation and knowledge of the genre. He championed arts and culture in our city and drew praise from his interview subjects and music industry figures. He will be greatly missed for his words, his voice, and his passion.
