JIM FINDLAY TRIO

We play a great mix of jazz and jazz/flamenco fusion, along with Middle Eastern influences. This ranges from heart felt ballads to fiery flamenco and straight ahead jazz with lots of originals.

The Jim Findlay Trio has been together about 15 years and has done hundreds of gigs from restaurants, The Blue Chair Cafe, to festivals, The Edmonton Jazz festival, and arts and corporate events. We do mainly original compositions in jazz, gypsy and flamenco genres. The trio improvises to make it an interesting experience but at the same time the music is very listenable. The repertoire is chosen to suite the venue/audience.
