“TD Edmonton International Jazz Festival remains committed to featuring international, national, and Edmonton-based jazz musicians,” says Festival Producer Kent Sangster. “This year, as in previous years, we are excited to present some musicians who transcend jazz and have found success in other mediums such as pop, rock, and hip-hop. We hope you will join us in experiencing all jazz has to offer.”

Jazz today is so expansive and our 2023 line-up delivers on showcasing and amplifying an intriguing blend of new and traditional sounds and instrumentation reflective of a variety of generations, cultures and tastes. Every day of our Festival presents opportunities for music-lovers to enjoy and support Edmonton-based musicians showcasing their latest projects and experience exciting performances by established touring artists from across Canadian as well as International acts from as far away as Australia and Egypt.

After graduating Juilliard Endea Owens @endeatheebassbae joined the Late Show with Stephen Colbert as a member of the house band, Jon Batiste`s Stay Human and now she and her band The Coookout are closing our Festival at Jazz In The Park on Sunday July 2 at Victoria Park, part of TD @td_canada Edmonton International Jazz Festival!
Endea has won an Emmy, Grammy, and a Peabody and her work has appeared on Jon Batiste’s Grammy Award-winning album “We Are”, Oscar-nominated film Judas and the Black Messiah, and H.E.R’s widely acclaimed Super Bowl LV performance.

LowDown Brass Band @lowdownbrassband is a uniquely strong representation of Chicago Music culture. This talented all horn band leans heavily on dancehall and street beat rhythm, with the energy of conscious hip hop, jazz, reggae, and soul.

Can you believe it? Two-time JUNO award winner Caity Gyorgy @caitygyorgy will be singing at Jazz In The Park on Sunday July 2 part of TD @td_canada Edmonton International Jazz Festival!
Caity is a Canadian vocalist known for singing bebop and swing music. She has performed at popular clubs and jazz festivals across Canada and the USA and has worked and recorded with incredible musicians and groups including Christine Jensen, Pat LaBarbera, Jocelyn Gould, Ira Coleman, Allison Au, Bryn Roberts, and Postmodern Jukebox.
