Yves Léveillé Sextet

BIOGRAPHY
Pianist and composer Yves Léveillé is a multi-dimensional artist whose music evokes notions of space, intimacy and fiery passion; his music is brilliantly rendered by his sextet. Léveillé has performed throughout Quebec and Canada, as well as in Paris, New York City and Singapore. He has a large number of broadcasts and recordings for Radio-Canada and the CBC his credit, and he works regularly as a musical director and arranger for singers, songwriters and in theatre. Léveillé also teaches music at the Université du Québec à Montréal and a summer jazz workshop at Domaine Forget, St-Irénée, and Métabetchouan, Lac St-Jean, in Québec.
