Jim Head Quartet

BIOGRAPHY
Jim Head has made hundreds of performance and teaching appearances across Canada, the U.S., China, and Mexico. He has performed with a number of notable jazz artists and appears on several albums. He released his first CD, “Mind’s Eye”, in 2006, which features renowned Toronto bassist Jim Vivian, New York drummer Owen Howard, and Montreal pianist Josh Rager. A graduate of the MacEwan College music program with a Masters’ Degree in Jazz Performance from McGill University, Jim received a Canada Council for the Arts grant to study with guitar-great John Abercrombie in New York.
