BIOGRAPHY
Dave Babcock is one of Edmonton's musical gems and a force on the city’s music scene. After honing his skills in MacEwan College's Music Program, this saxophonist established himself as one of the most dynamic, versatile and respected local acts. Dave's ability to blend jazz, hip-hop, house, funk and Latin music into his own contemporary style places him in a league all his own. He has played with Colin James, Long John Baldry, Big Jay McShann, Amos Garret, kd lang, Doug Rielly, Tom Cochrane, Tommmy Banks, Duke Rolevart and Big Miller, among other greats, and his debut album "Happenstance," has secured his place among Edmonton’s great jazz instrumentalists.
