Bobby Cairns Trio

BIOGRAPHY
For forty years, Bobby Cairns has been teaching, performing and adjudicating music. At sixteen, he began his professional career as a guitarist for Tommy Banks; the opportunity allowed Bobby to develop his arranging and composing skills, as well as his capabilities as a musician. Bobby’s style and expertise have been an asset to a variety of projects, from writing and producing television themes, documentary films, and commercial jingles to appearances with symphony orchestras. As Chair of the Guitar Program at MacEwan College for the past thirty years, Bobby has helped create and establish one of Canada’s most respected music programs.
